Statement


Her preferred mediums are charcoal, pastel, inks and traditional and contemporary intaglio & chine collé printmaking, working in her home and workshops in London from sketches and photos gathered on her trips to the wilder parts of Britain. She has shown in group exhibitions in Southbank Printmakers, London; Lauderdale House, London; Hampstead School of Art, London and Miniprint Cadaqués, Spain. 


Biography


Anne Louise Jackson (b.1960) is an artist/printmaker now living and working in London. She moved to Glasgow with her family at the age of nine, finishing her schooling there and going on to study at Glasgow School of Art (awarded BA Hons in Fine Art, 1983). It was during this time that her love of the Highlands was formed, an appreciation which has continued to deepen throughout her life.
