Her preferred mediums are charcoal, pastel, inks and traditional and contemporary intaglio & chine collé printmaking, working in her home and workshops in London from sketches and photos gathered on her trips to the wilder parts of Britain. She has shown in group exhibitions in Bankside Gallery, Southbank Printmakers, London; Lauderdale House, London; Hampstead School of Art, London and Miniprint Cadaqués, Spain and has just completed a solo exhibition in the Phoenix Cinema Exhibition Space, N22, London.
Anne Louise Jackson (b.1960) began life in Manchester, moved to Glasgow as a child then after travels in Europe, settled in London where she now lives and works. She studied Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art (BA Hons in Fine Art, 1983) and Middlesex University (BA Hons Fine Art) and has continued to develop her Art Practice, in the last decade focussing on drawing and traditional contemporary intaglio printmaking.
