Statement
As a Movement Artist, the catalyst for Ana's creativity is in the exposure to our wild Scottish landscapes. Through the journey of long distance, self supported cycling, this creates a natural physical and mental unwinding and move to refocus on her creativity. Wild camping in these spaces allows Ana to connect - not only the landscape, but a humbling experience of self.
This time taken in these journeys, fuels the creative connection of body and mind - with the bike providing the space and time to naturally invite this flow state. From this journey, the rhythm and physical independence informs Ana's response and way of connection to the landscape - through her art of movement.
It's in this exposure and freedom of these wild spaces that Ana connects to her true Creative Freedom. These wild spaces allow Ana to move the way she moves.
Through sharing her story, Ana hopes to inspire others to connect and explore their unique way of engaging with landscape.
